1930s Home

My interior taste changed constantly, and our home reflected that. I kept buying things that felt right for a moment, but never truly fit. Even painting the entire ground floor white as a “blank canvas” didn’t bring clarity. I knew interior designers existed, but none appealed to me. Too often it feels like the same formula, the designer’s own style imposed. I didn’t want trends or safe choices. It could even clash, as long as it felt like us.
Through mutual connections we met Laura. We gave her everything: our tastes, contradictions, likes and dislikes. Somehow, she distilled it all into one clear, cohesive story, one that fits us perfectly, even subtly including our sons taste. She also challenged us to keep what was right instead of replacing everything, and even turned leftovers like spare kitchen tiles into unique, meaningful details.
What we truly valued is her honesty. Her suggestions ranged from high-end to affordable, always without pressure or judgement. The choice was genuinely ours. The biggest surprise: we can now continue on our own. Our home finally feels right. Thank you, Laura, for creating a place that truly feels like ours.
